Dr. Santiago Garden is located in the city of Moura, in the municipality of the same name, and is integrated into the Quinta de Santo António da Pipa area. It is situated at the eastern end of Praça Sacadura Cabral, a central area of the locality. Its construction takes advantage of the position of one of the city's old walls, which gives it a unique setting and a strategic elevation.
Given its privileged location, Dr. Santiago Garden offers a wide view of the landscape surrounding Moura. From this point, it is possible to contemplate the vastness of the Alentejo fields, with particular emphasis on the Brenhas Valley. On days of good visibility, part of the imposing Alqueva dam can also be seen. The garden is a place with trees and flowers, providing a pleasant environment for a moment of pause.
When visiting the garden, the Fountain of Three Spouts (Fonte das Três Bicas) stands out, a monumental structure adorned with marble, which is presented as one of its most recognizable elements. Its bicarbonated and calcium-rich waters have historically been associated with beneficial properties. Adjacent to the garden entrance, there is also a building that housed the thermal spa, whose current architecture dates back to the late 19th century. Within the landscaped area, there is also a music kiosk, which evokes a traditional atmosphere.
