Located in the center of the village of Ferreira do Alentejo, in the District of Beja, Portugal.
The house's facade preserves its original features, with symmetrical vertical openings and first-floor windows with balconies and wrought iron railings.
The first-floor windows have decorated frames and triangular pediments at the top. Some rooms feature mural paintings executed by João Eloy Amaral.
Built in the 18th century by Diogo Maldonado Pessanha, a member of an influential local family. The interior underwent several modifications, mainly by Luís Passanha, while maintaining the original facade.
The Moradia D. Diogo Maldonado Passanha is currently a tourist establishment, offering visitors the opportunity to explore its historical architecture and preserved decorative details.
