The Original Fountain

The garden's name comes from its most distinctive element: the ferrous water fountain. Design and Natural Environment

The Jardim da Fonte Ferrea features a design organized in terraces. In its lower and flatter part, the garden unfolds into carefully arranged flowerbeds and tree-lined avenues shaded by hedges. In the upper area, a collection of seasonal herbaceous plants can be found, evidencing the existence of an old nursery on this site. The presence of leafy trees provides shady areas, making the space pleasant for rest, and the water that characterizes the location contributes to a fresh environment. A Tribute to the Gardener
