Design and Structure

Inaugurated in 2009, the Ovar Art Centre is the result of an architectural project by João Paulo Rapagão. The building was designed to be a versatile and contemporary space, capable of hosting various artistic manifestations. Inside, a multidisciplinary auditorium with a capacity for 356 people stands out, ideal for shows and presentations. Additionally, the centre features a multipurpose room that serves as an exhibition gallery, as well as rooms dedicated to rehearsals and educational activities. For the greater comfort of visitors, there are also lounge areas, such as an atrium and a terrace.
