Our Lady of Health is located in an elevated position, in the area of Fonte do Mato, belonging to the locality of São Mateus, in the municipality of Santa Cruz da Graciosa. It stands atop the renowned Monte da Saúde, at an altitude of 189 meters above sea level, offering a unique perspective over the surrounding area of the island.

The Hermitage
