- Built in the early 17th century by the Society of Jesus (Jesuits).

- Originally served as a place of rest for the lecturers of the College of Angra.

- The property, including the agricultural area and the manor house, was acquired in 1762 by Manuel Paim da Fonseca Carvão.

- In 1833, it passed into the possession of the 1st Viscount of Bruges, Teotónio de Ornelas Bruges Paim da Câmara.

- Currently, it belongs to the descendants of the family.

Architecture and Details

- The building has two floors and an external staircase.

- It features plain and simple lines, with decorative elements such as a stonework fountain, a coat of arms stone, aprons on the windows, and a gate with the symbol of the Society of Jesus.
