Praia da Pedreira is located in the parish of Água de Alto, in the municipality of Vila Franca do Campo. It is situated in a more secluded area of the locality, known as Praia Trinta Reis, and is close to the Rocha dos Campos area.
Access to this sandy area is on foot, via a path that descends along the cliff. This mode of arrival, with approximately 260 steps, contributes to its more isolated nature.
This sandy stretch is distinguished by its fine sand and its length of approximately 170 meters. The beach is embraced by imposing cliffs that shape its landscape, creating a very unique and inviting visual setting.
Its waters present remarkable clarity, forming a kind of natural basin suitable for swimming, with a predominantly sandy seabed. The view extends over the blue ocean and the surrounding green hills, lending the place a serene atmosphere.
