The Cais Natural Pool is located on the coastal area of Cais do Pico, an urbanized area in the locality of São Roque do Pico, which is also the eponymous municipality on Pico Island. Its position, next to the sea, provides a direct connection to the Atlantic landscape.

This pool is a natural rock formation, integrated into the coastline. For the convenience of visitors, concrete accesses have been created to facilitate entry and exit from the water. In addition to the main pool, a fixed structure allows access to the open sea, where the bottom is predominantly basalt slab.
