This bathing complex is comprised of natural pools, excavated in the basaltic rock so characteristic of Pico Island. To facilitate access, cement entry points have been integrated, designed for the convenience of bathers. The natural design of the pools allows the waters to be calmer and protected from the open sea.

In addition to the more sheltered areas, a fixed structure offers a safe passage to the ocean. Here, the bottom is composed of a vast basalt slab, providing a unique opportunity for contact with the local submarine geology and a distinct swimming experience.
