In the center of the garden, a monument dedicated to Antero de Quental stands out, a bronze piece authored by the São Miguel sculptor Ernesto Canto da Maia, which evokes his memory and work.

The Antero de Quental Garden is a notable example of Art Deco aesthetics in the Azores.
