The natural surroundings are dominated by green fields, black stone walls, and small traditional houses, providing a serene and inspiring environment.

The area is not very busy, which favors a relaxed visit, ideal for calmly appreciating both the space and the surrounding landscape. The studio is housed in a simple yet welcoming home, harmoniously integrated into the landscape.

Creative and Welcoming Space

Barro & Barro is a small ceramics studio that combines artisanal tradition with contemporary expression. The atmosphere invites curiosity: handmade pieces are carefully arranged, allowing an intimate approach to the artistic work. It is possible to observe the diversity of colors, shapes, and textures, with emphasis on the use of local materials and attention to detail.

The space is managed by an artist of foreign origin who settled on the island, creating a bridge between different cultural influences and Azorean identity. Direct contact with the creator makes the visit more personal and enriching.
