The Pico Vermelho Windmill is situated in the Pico Vermelho area, within the locality of Ajuda da Bretanha, belonging to the municipality of Ponta Delgada, on the island of São Miguel.

It is one of the few examples of this type of construction that remains preserved and in good condition on the island, which gives it special significance. Since 1996, it has been classified as a Public Interest Property.
