The Clock, locally known as alminhas de Canedo, is located on a small street in the village, part of the municipality of Ribeira de Pena. The structure stands next to traditional houses, at a point where the road narrows and the rural landscape begins to open up to the valleys that characterize this area of Trás os Montes.
