Location

The Parque da Guia is located in a central area of Ponte de Lima, making it easily accessible for visitors to the village. Its position, adjacent to the well-known Avenida dos Plátanos, naturally integrates it into the urban fabric, serving as a green transition point between the main arteries and a more tranquil environment.

Environment and Botany

This green space stands out for its calm atmosphere and the richness of its vegetation. It is a predominantly wooded area, where the choice and arrangement of trees and shrubs have been carefully considered to create a mosaic of colors and textures that change throughout the seasons. The park is dominated by the striking presence of the Indian Chestnut tree, complemented by a diversity of other species that enrich the botanical landscape of the site, inviting careful observation of nature.

Space Conception

The Parque da Guia features a particular design concept, combining functionality with landscape beauty. Although it serves a practical purpose, its structure maintains the essence of a garden. Landscape engineering has allowed its landscaped surface to coexist harmoniously with urban needs, demonstrating an innovative approach to creating multifunctional green areas in the heart of the village.
