The Lusitano Wood is located in Corroios, in the municipality of Seixal, next to Avenida Dom Afonso Henriques. The green space extends over a slightly undulating area, bordered by urban roads and recent residential zones. Proximity to the roundabout with the equestrian statue of D. Afonso Henriques marks a visual and symbolic reference point for accessing the wood.

The wood is composed of different tree species, with the cork oak predominating, the greatest symbol of the Mediterranean landscape.
