This venue is located in the Pinhal de Frades urbanization, a residential area that is part of the municipality of Seixal. It is specifically situated within the facilities of Colégio Atlântico, offering a point of access to aquatic activities in the area.
The main focus of this space is the promotion and practice of various aquatic activities. It is a place designed for those looking to engage in physical or therapeutic exercise in an aquatic environment. Activities range from swimming, at different levels, to modalities such as hydromobility and hydrogymnastics.
There is also a segment dedicated to the youngest, with adapted programs for baby swimming, creating a family-friendly environment for initiating contact with water.
An important aspect of this space is the attention given to the water quality in the pools. A treatment system is used that combines disinfection by ultraviolet rays with the addition of a less aggressive form of sodium hypochlorite.
This technological approach allows the water to be kept clean with a chlorine concentration lower than what is common in traditionally treated pools. Water quality is monitored by automatic equipment and regularly verified through analyses carried out by certified external laboratories, ensuring hygiene standards.
