Location

Maquettree Studios is located in the village of Soudos, in the municipality of Torres Novas, right in the heart of the Médio Tejo region. Set in a tranquil environment surrounded by natural landscapes, the space combines proximity to the city with the serenity of a more rural area.

Eng.º Manuel Antunes Mendes Street, where it is situated, is a quiet thoroughfare in Soudos, providing an environment conducive to artistic creation and technical development. The surroundings are characterized by small-scale constructions and a peaceful pace of life, typical of Portugal's inland localities.

Creation and Innovation

Founded in 1999, Maquettree Studios is dedicated to the development and production of exhibition content, with a special focus on science, art, and education. Their work ranges from the conception of interactive experiences to the physical production of models, scientific replicas, and sensory scenographies.

The studio is recognized for its multidisciplinary approach and meticulous attention to detail, from the initial sketch to the final installation. The projects developed are often intended for science centers, museums, and interpretive spaces, creating immersive experiences that spark curiosity and learning.

Creative Environment

The interior space of Maquettree Studios is simultaneously a workshop and a creative laboratory. Here, ideas take shape through manual and technological processes that combine the precision of engineering with the freedom of art.

The environment reflects a culture of experimentation and rigor, where each project represents a unique challenge. The diversity of materials, scales, and functions is visible in the pieces under development, many of which explore interactive forms and visual narratives adapted to different audiences.

Cultural and Technical Dimension

More than a simple atelier, Maquettree Studios is a meeting point between science, culture, and design. Its activity contributes to the valorization of scientific and artistic heritage, promoting new ways of communicating knowledge through space and matter.

The experience accumulated over the years has made the studio a discreet but consistent reference in the national panorama, especially among public and educational institutions. The result is exhibitions and installations with strong visual and pedagogical impact, designed to stimulate observation and thought.
