This church has a history dating back to the 16th century and has undergone several transformations over the years.
The facade, although simple, features a wooden portal dating from 1697, showcasing the architecture of the time.
Upon entering, you will find a single nave with a cradle-shaped ceiling and three altars. The main altar is adorned with a 16th-century sculpture of Saint Blaise, carved in stone, and there is a side altar dedicated to Our Lady of the Conception.
The nave's ceiling is adorned with popular decorative frescoes, and the church is decorated with 17th-century tiles featuring floral patterns.
The chancel features paintings that narrate the story of Saint Blaise, the patron saint of the church, making it a significant part of the visit.
In the porch, you will find a marble tombstone that guards the remains of Pedro Moniz de Albuquerque, born in 1676 and deceased in 1745.
The bell tower is simple, with ornaments at the top.
