Pena Garden is located in the area of the same name, in the city of Porto. Its location, on one of the slopes that characterize this area, offers a setting that allows one to contemplate the urban and natural landscape stretching towards the Douro River.
Before becoming a green space, the area where Pena Garden is now located was occupied by informal constructions and showed signs of abandonment. Its creation resulted from a process of urban recovery and requalification, transforming a degraded spot into a place of public enjoyment and a resting point in the area.
Visitors to Pena Garden will find a green space of modest dimensions. Its design prioritizes simplicity, creating a tranquil environment that invites a pause. Do not expect grand structures or complexities, but rather a serene place integrated into the urban fabric, ideal for a moment of tranquility.
One of the great attractions of this garden is, without a doubt, the view it offers. From one of its points, it is possible to appreciate a panorama of the slopes descending to the riverside area, with the Douro River as a central element. It is an invitation to contemplate the characteristic landscape of the city and the opposite bank, providing an interesting vantage point.
