Ponta do Sol Beach is located in the village of the same name, an integral part of the municipality of Ponta do Sol, on the western coast of Madeira Island. This bathing area is situated in a small cove, naturally protected by the cliffs that rise in its immediate surroundings.

This beach is formed by rounded pebbles and has an approximate length of 160 meters. It is recognized for the excellent quality of its waters, which stand out for their clarity and mild temperatures.
