Located in Lombada dos Marinheiros, in the parish and municipality of Calheta, on the island of Madeira, the Capela dos Marinheiros (Mariners' Chapel) stands on a small plateau with an unobstructed view of the Atlantic Ocean. The area is predominantly residential, tranquil, and elevated, allowing the chapel to stand out in the landscape and offer an expansive view of the sea.

Architecture and Environment

The Capela dos Marinheiros is a modest construction with simple lines, a white facade, and a gabled roof.
