Located in the Misericórdia parish, in Lisbon, near Rua do Alecrim and Rua António Maria Cardoso.
Built in the late 18th century by the Quintela family of Barons as a residence.
Neoclassical and Neobaroque style, with richly decorated interiors, highlighting the decoration from the 1820s.

Before the palace, the site housed noble houses of the Counts of Vimioso, destroyed by the fire of 1726 and the Earthquake of 1755.
Started in the mid-1780s by Joaquim Pedro Quintela, nephew of Luís Rebelo de Quintela.
