Located near Sagres, in the municipality of Vila do Bispo, Praia do Telheiro is situated in a cove along the coast. It has the distinction of being the last beach on the west coast before the famous Cape St. Vincent. Its surroundings are integrated into the protected area of the Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park.
