Monte Gordo Beach is located in the town of the same name, which is part of the municipality of Vila Real de Santo António, in the easternmost part of the Algarve. The beach is integrated into the urban area of Monte Gordo, extending over a vast area that borders, to the west, the Forest Nursery. Its geographical position on the leeward side of the Algarve contributes to some of its unique characteristics.

The Vastness of the Sandy Beach

Visitors to Monte Gordo Beach will find a particularly extensive and flat sandy beach. With a considerable length of approximately 1.4 kilometers, this vast stretch of golden sand offers plenty of space, even during the busiest periods.
