Architectural Description

- Dates from the 16th century, with a 16th-century style.

- Circular and octagonal base, rising over three steps.

- Simple column without many decorations.

- A parallelepiped-shaped top.

- Features small pinnacles on top.

- Carved coat of arms, opposite face with a shield, and the remaining faces smooth.

History

- Two pillories have existed in the parish of Buarcos since the 18th century, due to the annexation of the village of Redondos to Buarcos in 1794.

- Both were erected in the 16th century, in limestone, with similar style and size.
