Location

Carvalha Park is located in the town of Sertã, specifically in the Montinho area. Its privileged position allows for easy access while offering a natural retreat adjacent to the town's urban area. It is framed by the presence of the Sertã River, a central element in its landscape.

A Green and Riverside Space

This park is distinguished by its serene environment, shaped by the presence of the Sertã River. In its bed, a weir contributes to the formation of a water mirror, which amplifies the sense of calm and invites contemplation. It is a place where nature and tranquility meet, providing an inviting setting for a relaxed stroll or a moment of rest.

Art Integrated into the Landscape

At the heart of Carvalha Park, there is a notable work of art titled "Véu". This installation, characterized by two metallic portals supporting an undulating sequence of six mirrored plates, was strategically placed over the river's weir. Its design aims to enhance and multiply the reflections of the water, the surrounding park vegetation, and the rural landscape that surrounds it. This piece is part of a broader concept of artistic integration into the region's natural environment, inviting visitors to a unique visual experience that dialogues with the natural elements of the location.
