- It is located in Barcelinhos, in the municipality of Barcelos, on the left bank of the Cávado river.
- The first references to the house date back to the 15th century.
- In the 16th century, it belonged to João Paes "The Elder", a companion in arms of King Afonso V.
- In 1726, the estate was acquired by Pedro do Valle Vessadas, who ordered the construction of the current house.
- In the 19th century, it was expanded by Maria Augusta Teixeira do Vale Vessadas and by the 1st Viscount of Santo António de Vessadas.
- L-shaped house, with parts dating from the 18th and 19th centuries.
- Neoclassical and revivalist style, combining different construction periods.
- Entrance marked by a wrought iron gate, flanked by crenellated walls.
- Chapel in the center of the complex, with a neoclassical altarpiece in gilded woodcarving.
- Formal garden to the south, structured in geometric boxwood parterres.
- Presence of camellias, orange trees, magnolias and wisteria.
- Fountain with a backrest and three sculpted spouts.
- Grove and agricultural land to the north, including an orchard and vineyard.
- Large terrace overlooking the property.
- Fountain with the coat of arms of the Valle Vessadas family.
- Preserved agricultural outbuildings, including a traditional drying shed.
- The house still belongs to the founding family, remaining a symbol of local nobility.
- Classified as a Property of Public Interest since 1977.
