It is housed next to the village's old Primary School, in an area that reflects its connection to the community and local history. The History and Heritage of Radio

Inaugurated in 2017, this museum was born from the Municipality of Oliveira do Bairro's intention to preserve and disseminate a vast heritage linked to radio, dedicating itself entirely to this theme and seeking to culturally enrich its visitors. The foundation of its collection is the rich private collection of Manuel Silva, a native of Bustos. The museum perpetuates the name "Radiolândia," which was the designation of this collector's former radio store, keeping alive the memory of a place that marked the history of the municipality and contributed to the development of Bustos.

An Internationally Recognized Collection

The collection encompasses over two thousand items, including some of the rarest and most significant radios of the 20th century. In addition to Manuel Silva's initial collection, the museum incorporates many other donated devices from various sources. This collection forms a unique patrimony in the country, distinguished by its international recognition. The museum is not merely an exhibition space; it features museological reserve areas that can be explored, as well as various technical areas. In these areas, work related to the study, research, conservation, and restoration of the pieces is carried out.
