Quinta da Costeira has been kept in the same family over the years, which makes it even more special.
The main house of the quinta has a neoclassical design and is surrounded by a beautiful forest park.
In the 19th century, D. Manuel Correia de Bastos Pina transformed the quinta into an episcopal residence and sanctuary.
The quinta houses a chapel dedicated to Our Lady of Lourdes, with beautiful paintings and tiles.
The Sanctuary at Quinta da Costeira was inaugurated in 1902 and attracted many pilgrims at the time.
In addition to family gatherings, the quinta is the setting for religious ceremonies, weddings, and festivals in honor of Our Lady of Lourdes, which are open to the community.
The quinta has about 10 hectares of gardens inspired by the romantic style, providing a charming environment for visitors.
