The Coronados bridge is located in the parish of São Pedro de Castelões, in the municipality of Vale de Cambra, in the district of Aveiro, Portugal.
- Construction: The bridge was built in the 17th or 18th century, although the author and builder are unknown.
- Alterations: In the 19th century, the deck was raised, transforming the original structure into a horizontal deck.
- Classification proposal: On March 13, 2001, the bridge was proposed as a property potentially subject to classification during the inventory and classification of environmental and heritage values of the Municipality of Vale de Cambra.
- Restoration: Due to the danger of collapse of part of the balcony and the lateral wall on the north/west side, the bridge was closed to motorized traffic for a few months until it was restored.
- 2007 Restoration: In the summer of 2007, the Municipal Council restored the balcony, the north/west lateral wall and the bridge deck, which continued with traffic restricted to light vehicles.
- Structure: The bridge is a horizontal deck structure, with access via two ramps over two arches of different sizes.
- Materials: It was built in granite stone in the arches and buttress, and in masonry in the body of the bridge.
- Voussoir details: The voussoirs are generally regular, with mason's marks in the shape of a cross and some irregularities on the exterior.
- Cavities for centering: There are cavities at the base of the arches to support the centering during construction.
The bridge railings are made of plastered masonry, with a rounded finish on the ramps, and granite stonework on the horizontal deck.
