The Pillory of Frossos is located in the parish of Frossos, in the municipality of Albergaria-a-Velha, in the district of Aveiro, in Portugal.

History

The Pillory was moved after 1963 and is currently located in the central square of the village.

Classification

It is classified as a Property of Public Interest by Decree No. 23,122 of October 11, 1933.

Characteristics

The pillory has a raised base in the shape of a plinth with three square steps. Previously, there was an even higher square base with a small platform, protected by four small columns.
