The Jardim dos Campos is located in the heart of Ovar, integrated into the city's urban fabric. Its central location makes it easily accessible, presenting itself as a reference green space in the surrounding area.
This garden was conceived with clear inspiration from romantic and naturalistic spaces. It has a predominantly rectangular layout and benefits from a central corridor that guides its structure. The project was signed by architect Sidónio Pardal, known for his approach that values the integration of nature into the urban environment, inviting strolls and visual delight.
As one walks through the Jardim dos Campos, attention is captured by the richness of colors in its plantations. Among the various species that compose it, numerous varieties of roses and climbing plants stand out, harmoniously combining with ample lawn areas. This combination creates a vibrant and pleasant environment, where flora is the protagonist, offering different shades throughout the year.
The Jardim dos Campos constitutes a place for conviviality and serenity in the center of Ovar. With its lawn areas and benches strategically placed, it provides a refuge for those seeking moments of rest and leisure. The presence of a fountain contributes to the tranquil atmosphere of the place, making it ideal for a relaxed break or a revitalizing walk.
