Situated in the coastal locality of Furadouro, in the municipality of Ovar, Discoteca Fénix is located next to the beach, a position that grants it a direct connection with the summer dynamics of this area. Its implantation allows for immediate access to the coastline, a characteristic of the surrounding area.
For several decades, Discoteca Fénix established itself as an unmissable landmark in the region's nightlife. It was a place for generations to socialize, where friendships were formed and significant memories were created. Its existence contributed to the projection of Furadouro as a leisure and entertainment destination.
Discoteca Fénix distinguished itself by offering varied musical atmospheres, with two dance floors that accommodated different styles. One of them was particularly dedicated to Latin rhythms, providing a diverse experience to visitors and contributing to its unique identity in the nightlife scene.
Discoteca Fénix is integrated into a larger leisure complex, the construction area of which is conditioned by the Coastal Area Management Plan. This condition ensures that the space maintains its original vocation for entertainment and prevents significant alterations that would distort its function, such as its conversion for residential purposes.
