Situated atop a hill in the parish of Escariz, the chapel offers a unique view and a tranquil environment, ideal for moments of contemplation.
The sanctuary is reached via a long staircase that leads to a serene space, marking the beginning of a unique experience.
Built in the 1930s, the chapel is linked to ancient Marian traditions and local legends, which mention an apparition of the Virgin on a nearby rock.
In the grounds, there is a small chapel accompanied by a stage, bandstand, crosses and images of worship. The site maintains the spirit of popular festivals and traditional devotion.
Annually, on the last weekend of August, a pilgrimage is held which includes a procession with candles, covering approximately two kilometers, on a route decorated with small lamps.
In addition to religious rituals, the space hosts festivals, picnic areas, and gatherings, promoting the unity of locals and visitors and reinforcing the cultural identity of the region.
