Details and Structure

The Alminhas do Monte are distinguished by their particular design. This religious element is embedded in the wall of a covered structure, which gives it a unique appearance and perfectly integrates it into the existing construction. The central niche, where the sacred representation is located, rests on a robust stone table. Also noteworthy is a slightly flattened round arch that frames the niche, and it is topped by a cross displaying high-relief carvings, evidencing the artistic care present in its creation.
